Frequently asked questions
Lextory is still in beta development, so some features and details may change. If something does not work as expected, feedback is especially useful.
Where is Lextory available?
Android beta testing is being prepared through Google Play. iOS support is planned as the project develops.
Do I need a Lextory account?
No. Lextory works without an account and most data is stored locally on your device. Signing in with Google is optional and is needed only for AI features, cloud backup and Premium.
What happens if online translation is unavailable?
Lextory can use downloaded offline translation models on supported mobile platforms. You can manage language models in Settings → Offline translations.
Why do definition and synonym features need Wi-Fi?
Those optional learning features use online AI processing. If Wi-Fi is not available, the word can still be saved and Lextory can use translation functionality without requesting the AI explanation.
Are my books or PDFs uploaded automatically?
No. Opening a book or PDF in Lextory does not automatically upload the whole document. Only information required for an online feature you actively use may be transmitted.
How can I report a bug or suggest an improvement?
In Lextory, open Settings → Beta & support → Send feedback. You can also contact the developer by email below.
Where can I read the Privacy Policy?
The full Privacy Policy is available on the Privacy page.
Still need help?
Send a message with a short description of the problem. Screenshots and the app version can help when reporting a bug.
